Puerto Vallarta
With its palm fringed beaches, luxuriant jungle vegetation and posh resorts, lots of places come to mind. But no resort better typifies the classic Mexican beach vacation than does Puerto Vallarta. It delivers "round-the-clock" activity (or blissful seclusion), sophisticated amenities, and a dream like natural setting. It's considered the ideal vacation spot for the first time Mexico visitor, while also boasting enough diversity of activities to keep people coming back over and over again. Outdoor recreation is limitless. Every imaginable water sport is available along Puerto Vallarta's shore. It's dining and nightlife is excellent. Shopping is some of Mexico's finest, thanks to a bevy of Mexican and International artists that make Puerto Vallarta their home. There are great day trips, either by boat or by land. Visits to offshore islands, remote jungle coves, snorkeling cruises and eco-adventures are just some of the adventures that await you in this Mexican paradise.
Cancun
From ruins to riches, Cancun has it all. In fact it's hard to imagine a site better endowed with natural, archaeological, and manmade attractions. Technically an island, Cancun's resort zone is a 14-mile long slender ribbon of sand shaped like the number "seven". It's stunning beaches must be seen to be believed: silky smooth sugar-white sand, lapped by the turquoise and emerald waters of the Caribbean. As for visitor facilities, Cancun offers an exotic, tropical island setting buoyed by modern comforts and conveniences. A well planned layout and infrastructure give the destination a polished appearance. Shopping is top notch with over a dozen American-style shopping malls and with over 200 restaurants. The dining options include gourmet seafood, Asian, Caribbean, American and Mexican specialties. Cancun succeeds in combining the best of Mexico and the Caribbean into one tidy package.
